Collision Repair & Restoration Assistant

Job Description:

Join a team dedicated to restoring vehicles to their original condition. As a Collision Repair & Restoration Assistant, you’ll assist in the detailed work of vehicle repair and restoration, from minor cosmetic fixes to more extensive collision repairs. This role offers the chance to work with skilled professionals in a hands-on environment, learning the ins and outs of the auto body repair process, including paint, panel replacement, and structural work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in repairing vehicle bodywork, including sanding, grinding, and panel replacements.
• Support the paint process, including prepping surfaces and mixing paint.
• Help assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates with guidance from senior staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to meet shop standards.
• Learn about modern repair techniques and materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A strong interest in auto body work and vehicle restoration.
• Ability to work with tools and machinery in a detailed, careful manner.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physical ability to handle manual labor and long hours in a workshop environment.
